NSF Proposal Writing Strategies and Funding Opportunities Monday July 28

We are pleased to announce that UNO graduate (2000), Yvette Pearson Weatherton, Ph.D., P.E., Program Director in the Division of Undergraduate Education Directorate for Education and Human Resources at the National Science Foundation will be on campus Monday, July 28th.

 Dr. Weatherton will present: 

Proposal Writing Strategies and Funding Opportunities

This workshop will give prospective Principal Investigators an overview of strategies to enhance the quality of proposals submitted to various funding opportunities at the National Science Foundation. It is designed to be interactive in nature and includes activities related to key elements of competitive proposals such as objectives and outcomes, rationale, evaluation and effectively addressing merit review criteria. The workshop will culminate with a session on helpful hints and fatal flaws to consider when developing proposals.
