By Carol Lunn (on 3/18/2013 @ 14:04:02, in Board of Regents, read 480 times)
The Louisiana Board of Regents has a program to fund projects for a faculty member working with an industrial partner. The project can either have a research or commercialization focus. The application deadline is May 3rd. The Office of Research is conducting a workshop on Thursday, March 21st at 10 am (in EN 321) to briefly describe the program and application process. Faculty members who hold an active award or have recently had an award in this program will be in attendance to answer any questions and/or provide pointers on the program. The workshop is open to faculty, staff and students. Attached is the Request for Proposals for more details and the application forms.

If you are interested in attending the workshop, please register on SharePoint: https://sharepoint.uno.edu/research/professional_development/Lists/Professional%20Development%20Registrations/my%20registrations.aspx. Click “Add new item” and complete the requested data. Students will need to email Carol Mitton (cmitton@uno.edu) to register. Registration is requested but not required.

Questions about this workshop or the program can be directed to Carol Mitton (280-5546 or cmitton@uno.edu).
